A roof over our heads, the support of a loving family and somewhere safe to come home to are all things most of us take for granted, but what if this isn’t the case? Where would you turn?

Every day young people in our community are homeless. Some of them are street homeless; the vast majority are ‘hidden homeless’. They might be sofa surfing, moving around from place to place, living in temporary accommodation such as a hostel, bed and breakfast or unsafe places such as cars or squats. Our mission is to support them into a secure situation and ensure that they do not return to the desperation of an uncertain future.
We believe the first stage in preventing youth homelessness is to equip young people with the knowledge and skills to prevent a crisis. We offer sessions that focus on the topics of homelessness, leaving home, independent living, managing conflict and healthy relationships. All the money you help us to raise will ensure we can continue providing the services to help young people in your local community.

As it progresses, people with Huntington's disease can require 24-hour care, meaning they are no longer able to stay in the family home with loved ones. To compound this devastating toll on families, each child of an HD parent is at 50% risk of inheriting the faulty gene that leads to HD. In Scotland today, there are 1100 people with Huntington's disease and a further 5000 people at risk. You can find out more here

Wakefield Hospice

Wallace & Gromits Grand Appeal

Take the plunge and be there for sick children and their families, when they need you most.

Join The Grand Appeal’s Wingwalking team, and give young patients at Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit the care they need, and the chance they deserve.

Your money will go towards life-saving equipment, pioneering research and family accommodation. It will create arts, music therapy and play programmes and help fund specialist support staff who help make being a child in hospital a happier experience.

Take your fundraising to new heights, and help give patients and families everything they need to cope with what lies ahead, whatever the outcome.
