Wing walk for charity…
Adventure TherapyPlease make your Wing Walk experience for Adventure Therapy and help us to provide new and emotive experiences for children and adults with unique health conditions, impairments or limitations.
We support people with mental health conditions, physical disability, learning disability, life limiting illnesses and life changing conditions through outdoor and adventure-led activities. We make a positive difference in challenging and complex lives.
The power of spending time outdoors in nature and adventure should not be under-estimated. Our activities improve resilience and vitality, aid rehabilitation, provide a sense of accomplishment and create special memories for families.
Adventure Therapy is based in North Devon and we support young people and adults in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Our activities include surfing, kayaking, coasteering, SUP, SCUBA diving and gorge walking in or around water and on land, caving, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, archery and bushcraft. We also provide Treetop Adventures and Zipwire experiences.
We do not charge for activities, which are funded by the generosity of the communities we serve. Your Wing Walk can also provide fun and excitement to others and help us to support people who face their own unique challenges, every day. Your support can provide confidence and help people to form friendships. You create special memories. You put mud in places – and smiles on faces.
Thank you for your support – and for helping us to change lives through adventure.

Scottish Huntington's AssociationHuntington's disease is an incurable neurological condition with complex physical and mental symptoms. These include a deterioration in motor function which leads to reduced control over movement and a loss of ability to walk, talk, eat and swallow. The disease also causes mood and personality changes and, in some cases, serious psychiatric illness. As it progresses, people with Huntington's disease can require 24-hour care, meaning they are no longer able to stay in the family home with loved ones. To compound this devastating toll on families, each child of an HD parent is at 50% risk of inheriting the faulty gene that leads to HD. In Scotland today, there are 1100 people with Huntington's disease and a further 5000 people at risk. You can find out more here https://hdscotland.org/
